Woman, 79, hit by vehicle on Concession Street
Police are investigating after a 79-yearold woman was hit by a vehicle in Cambridge. On Thursday at 5:20 p.m. police were called to Concession Street and Peck Street where a man, also 79, driving east on Concession struck the woman who “walked out into traffic,” Waterloo Regional Police said in a news release. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police said the driver was given a three-day licence suspension for being over the blood alcohol limit. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
