Struggling seniors
The cost of living has risen to a point where senior citizens are having a hard time buying everyday essentials like groceries, gas, heating and clothes.
The federal government seems to be tied up with carbon taxes, cannabis and immigration, and apologizing to people over things that happened years ago, forgetting about senior citizens again. We have to pay the same amount to buy things as everyone else.
The CPP and Old Age Pension together, based on a 40-hour work week, amounts to approximately $9.30 per hour.
Leaving seniors to live far below the minimum wage in Ontario.
