Michael J. Fox gets first tattoo at 57

Michael J. Fox debuted his first tattoo on Instagram Wednesday, a sea turtle swimming through ovals. Fox turned 57 last June. “First tattoo, sea turtle, long story,” Fox wrote of the black ink on his upper forearm. New York’s Bang Bang tattoo shop owner Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy elaborated on the meaning of Fox’s tattoo to Inked Magazine. “He was telling me that there was a transformation for him with his career decisions when he was swimming in Saint John,” McCurdy said. “He spotted this turtle with a chunk missing from its fin and a scar on his face. And that turtle let him swim with him for about a half an hour. He made a transcending decision right after that,” he continued.
