Re: Elections Canada tilts the table on climate change — Aug. 20

Elections Canada is making a fool of itself by warning environmental charities that discussing the dangers of climate change could be deemed partisan activity. What if Maxime Bernier, leader of the People’s Party of Canada, woke up tomorrow and decided that the Earth was flat: Would this make the Royal Canadian Geographical Society partisan to declare the world round? Advocating for action based on scientific facts cannot be banned due to the whims of a politician.
