Passed away peacefully, with her brother by her side, on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 61. Wife of Andrew. Mother of Alexander, Christopher and Stephan. Sister of Andreas (Soula), Alex (Iliada), Stavros, Janet Costi (George), and Nick. Daughterin-law of Erika Strauss. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews and other extended relatives in Canada, Cyprus, England and Australia. Predeceased by parents, Panayiotis (1965) and Panayiota (2005). Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 8:00 p.m. (Trisigion at 7:45 p.m.) on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Private Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
