With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Giuseppe Dalla Nora announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Grand River Hospital Freeport Campus (KW). Beloved husband of his late wife Clelia for 60 years. Devoted father to Marco (Caroline) and Sergio (Cassandra Karen). Cherished Nonno to Dominic (Mary), Mariah and Siena. Doting Bisnonno to great-grandson Ari. Giuseppe was a humble, loving and caring man who always put his family, friends and neighbours first. He was an accomplished carpenter, avid gardener and wine maker who also proudly served as an Alpino in the Italian military and volunteered much of his time as a member of the Gruppo Sociale Alpini Club of K-W and fundraising for the Canadian Friends of Chernobyl's Children. He will be sorely missed. Family and friends will be received at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home (617 King St. N., Waterloo) on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 9 to 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate his faith and life will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes R.C Church 75 Bluevale St. N in Waterloo. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery. Due to covid19 restrictions please register on our website for Giuseppe's visitation and Mass. or phone the funeral home at 519 888 7700 to register.
