ZETTEL, Margaret

In hope of the resurrection, Margaret passed away peacefully at the age of 95 surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed as the matriarch of her family, children David (Janelle), Daniel (Janice), Kevin (Kathy) and Carol (Scott) along with seven grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Elizabeth Karges and her husband Joseph (1995). Margaret was always the helpmate to her family from making a comfortable home, supporting Joe in his business and farming activities to assisting with childcare of her grandchildren. These are the activities that made her the happiest. Margaret was a member of St. Anne's and Blessed Sacrament Church and the Catholic Women's League for many years. We would like to thank all the staff of Winston Park Retirement and Highview Residence for all their care and support over the last years of Margaret's life. Family and friends are invited to visitation from 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 12 to 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, with a Funeral Liturgy in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery.
