FROM AMY: From the beginning, we knew we wanted our wedding to be soft and romantic. Our venue, the Belvédère, is breathtaking, so we felt it didn’t need elaborate decor. Instead, Charly and I decided to enhance the atmosphere with lots of pink and white flower arrangements. Erin from Full Bloom executed our entire floral vision— she even made an amazing floral collar for our Bernese mountain dog, Lucy. Our favourite moment of the day was walking down the aisle. We opted out of doing a first look because we wanted to build the excitement leading up to the ceremony. Finally getting to see my groom at the end of the aisle— and Charly seeing me in my dress—was magical. The cake that Catherine from Catherine’s Cakery created for us was beyond words. All the details and sugar flowers were unbelievable, and not only was it gorgeous, but it was the best (and fluffiest) lemon cake we’ve ever tasted. The finest decision we made was hiring Amanda from Pink Tuxedo Productions. She is a master at her craft and has the perfect personality to be a videographer. She was in the background most of the time yet she captured all the beautiful moments of the day—and some that I missed! She produced footage that we can relive over and over again.
