Wedding Bells (East) - - Real Weddings -

FROM KATIE: The theme for the wedding was modern classic with Maritime charm.

It was important to us to truly showcase P.E.I. with a real East Coast ambience throughout. Having an oyster shucker at the cocktail hour, featuring an illustrated map of the island on the invitations and hosting an East Coast kitchen party for guests the night before the wedding were just some of the ways we incorporated island culture into the celebration. We were so lucky to get married on the red cliffs of P.E.I. with the Northumberland

Strait as our backdrop. We were also blessed with the most perfect P.E.I. weather. Seeing each other for the first time on our wedding day, just the two of us out on a cliff by the ocean, was a once-ina-lifetime experience. We flew our friends Robbie & Matthew from Toronto to P.E.I. to

perform as the live band at the reception. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made in the whole wedding-planning process. They had the dance floor packed the entire night and their beatboxing and mash-ups blew everyone away. Best wedding band ever!
