FROM SHIRLEY: We loved our papercrane-themed ceremony. Paper cranes symbolize good luck and long-lasting love, so we thought the theme was romantic and elegant. With the cranes hanging from the beautiful tree arch, the venue felt like a lovely enchanted garden. Entering the ceremony by white horse carriage felt like a fairy tale come true. We complemented our coral colour scheme with shades of blush, gold and ivory. The “Free Spirit” rose was the main flower we used in our decor, and its coral colour worked perfectly. We also thought the flower was a good representation of my personality. I really felt like a free-spirited bride wearing a beautiful dress while I was walking down the aisle toward my Mr. Right. The dessert table was one of our favourite details. We loved the idea that guests could mingle and enjoy some sweets after the ceremony. Since the wedding was so intimate, this was important. The table also created a nice backdrop for photos. After six years of being together, marrying Arthur felt so unreal. We talked all the time about promising our lives to each other, but actually looking into one another’s eyes and exchanging vows is a moment I’ll never forget.

THE DESSERT TABLE WAS ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE DETAILS.
