FROM MICHELLE: Jimmy and I have

known each other since Grade 6. It’s kind of crazy, almost like a fairy tale. He was always trying to get my attention but I thought I was too cool for him. But he was persistent every single time we saw each other. We wanted the wedding to be elegant and sophisticated, and very

romantic. Jimmy and I have opposite tastes when it comes to design. He is more of a modern type of person, whereas I lean toward traditional, warm and cozy. We thought our mix of colours would go well with our tastes. We decided on gold, white and taupe to tie everything together nicely. My dress was drop-dead gorgeous and fit me like

a glove! The lace, the sparkles and the backless, long train were to die for—I didn’t want to change out of it! Our family and friends gave very heartfelt speeches. It’s not very often we get to hear the people we love tell us how they feel about us as a couple. And Jimmy is a man of very few words and never cries, yet he shed tears all throughout the speeches. Family and friends mean so much to us and we were grateful to share those moments with them.
