FROM LEAH: Adam and I are hopeless romantics who don’t like to over-complicate

things or sweat the small stuff. So when it came to our wedding, all we knew was that we wanted it to reflect warmth, love and timeless romance. We chose a simple, clean colour palette of soft champagnetaupe, white and greens with slight accents

of coral, peach and caramel. We also mixed greys into the accent decor for a soft but masculine balance to the feminine tones in the dining space. The beautiful chandelier that hung from a tree over the spot where we were married served as the

perfect accent. It provided that extra bit of elegance during our ceremony while the sun was out, and a romantic glow under the night sky. One of the most special highlights of the night was when my maid of honour and best friend of 30 years surprised us with the gift of a lifetime. During our cocktail hour, she introduced us to Paul Dolgov, who was there to paint our wedding. The result was a gorgeous one-of-a-kind acrylic painting of our first dance. It is a piece of art that captures the day perfectly and we will cherish it for the rest of our lives.
