Recipe for Success

Where Vancouver - - Dining -

Down-home dishes, well-priced wines, heritage space—Tuc Craft Kitchen (page 107) has all the ingredients for a spirited evening. The lively two-storey room features flavours of the Pacific Northwest on the plate, served alongside handcrafted libations and some of the city’s most value-priced vinos. The summer menu’s highlights include the Thai-inspired Seafood Tamarind Bisque (pictured), and the Surf and Turf, with crispyfried soft shell crab and miso-infused steak. Save space for the Chocolate Fondue, a classic diner milkshake with a twist (and sprinkles, to boot). We’ll raise a fork— or spoon—to that.—Jill Von Sprecken
