On Top Of It All

-

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday over the summer period, you can take the Village Gondola up to the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain and enjoy a mouth- watering BBQ at 6,000 feet. You have the choice between the hog roast on Friday, prime rib on Saturday, and seafood grill on Sunday; and they all come with fresh salads, sides, and desserts such as chocolate fudge brownies, apple brown betty and rum raisin bread pudding. But watch out for the pesky Whisky Jack birds that enjoy an excellent BBQ as much as anyone else! 1- 800- 766- 0449 Tip: Buy the BBQ as an add- on to a sightseeing ticket and earn your dinner by heading up the mountain for the day and enjoying the scenery on a spectacular hike and Peak2Peak Gondola ride. This is a great activity for families; and kids six and under are free. Photo Op: By the Inukshuk outside the Roundhouse or on the Peak2Peak Gondola. ( It’s worth the wait to get on one of the glass- bottomed gondolas.)
