SUNDAY – There is a reason that Sunday is dubbed by locals as ‘ fun day’ - anything goes! Start your Sunday night early by spending a sunny afternoon on the patio of a local pub. The Longhorn Saloon has one of the biggest and best and their Sunday ‘ Locals Night’ features DJ Billy the Kidd with bike giveaways. Later, don’t miss Moe Joe’s ‘Sunday Glow Party’. It’s a high-energy mix of house, electro and mash ups, and they provide glow in the dark accessories and paint upon arrival. MONDAY - Tommy Africa’s boasts the longest running club night in Whistler. Their ‘80s and 90s Night’ is legendary, with retro 80s throwbacks and old school dance jams. King of 80s, DJ Ryder, plays all the best hits that defined a generation. Dress up in your favorite 80s attire for a chance to win prizes. If you have a ‘Case of the Mondays’, check out DJ Joni T, at Maxx Fish for deep house, electro and funk. TUESDAY - You’ll find the best of Whistler’s local musicians at the Firerock Lounge’s ‘Locals Live’ from 9pm; afterwards head over to Maxx Fish, for their ‘ Really Good’ Tuesdays. DJ Mat the Alien doesn’t disappoint with his own special blend of drum and bass music. Other globally renowned DJs often make guest appearances. WEDNESDAY - It’s ‘Margarita Madness’ at the Longhorn Saloon, featuring legendary margaritas and bulldogs. Wrap up your night at Buffalo Bill’s ‘Industry Night’ featuring DJ Peacefrog mixing new and classic house, hip hop, rock, and mashups. THURSDAY - Check out ‘Crafty Thursdays’ at the Firerock Lounge and tantalize you taste buds with their new flights of beer. Continue the party at Garfinkel’s ‘Local’s Night’ with DJ Rich A and Turtle. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY - Whistler’s weekends are legendary! Remember that most of the bars and nightclubs will be packed, so either plan in advance (or email ahead for guest lists) or be prepared to wait in line.
