Whistler Traveller Magazine

EDITOR’S NOTE

-

Thank you for picking up the latest issue of Whistler Traveller Magazine. We hope you enjoy reading about the place we love.

Whistler is a stunning area to live, work and most of all play. Summer is my favourite season, and we encourage you to get out and experience the outstanding variety of activities that Whistler and the Sea to Sky corridor has to offer. There’s something for everyone! ( Why Don’t You, p. 14 and Family Friendly Activities, p. 52).

Our amazing variety of biking trails offer a fun experience for all: whether you’re in the mood for a casual pedal on the Valley Trail, looking for a single track cross country adventure ( Biking Whistler … Not Only Downhill, p. 36) or need the speed, thrill and challenge of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park ( Adrenaline: Going Downhill, p. 44). Perhaps zip lining, bungee jumping or simply spectacular views from the Peak 2 Peak gondola are your choices for adventure ( High Flying over Whistler, p. 28).

Sea to Sky is a golfer’s paradise. Be sure to play a few rounds and experience the variety and challenge the corridor courses have to offer ( Fore!, p. 46).

For those who want to take their Sea to Sky adventure to B. C.’ s beautiful backcountry, there’s a superb selection of hiking trails available ( Take a Hike: Be Prepared, p. 54). Perhaps a four- wheel ATV adventure is more your speed ( Whistler Off- Road, p. 42).

After a day of adventure, you are sure to be ready for a refreshing cocktail on one of our many patios ( Chill Out – Side, pg. 62); and look forward to a fantastic culinary experience at some outstanding restaurants ( Dressed Up, p. 72 and Hot Spot, p. 68).

Thank you for sharing this issue with us!
