Go for a Slide Ride

If you want to speed down the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb in the summertime, check out the Westcoaster Slide. The luge is just one of many different activities to explore in Whistler Blackcomb’s Family Adventure Zone, located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain … and this one is a lot of fun for big kids too! The Westcoaster Slide travels down a winding 315- metre long track, carving back and forth across the base of a ski run on Blackcomb. The track is set partially in the ground and is concave in shape, making rounding each corner a smoothly banked blast! Children 4 - 7 must ride with an adult, while kids 8 and up ( and taller than 4’) can pilot the luge alone. One or two ride tickets are available for the Westcoaster Slide; or if you’re trying out a few activities, use your Adventure Zone Pass.
