Renowned for its intimate nature, cutting-edge lineup and stylish partygoers, the Whistler Film Festival has been dubbed ‘Canada’s coolest film festival’ and is considered ‘one of the top 30 fests in the world’ by Variety Magazine. The Festival has celebrated some of the best films and filmmakers of our time including Daniel Radcliffe, Donald Sutherland, Richard Dreyfuss, Ivan Reitman, Norman Jewison and many more; and recently announced Canadian filmmaker and actor Jason Priestley as its Honorary Ambassador, who will be in attendance. Whistler’s fourteenth cinematic celebration will be screening up to 90 innovative and original films from around the world from December 3 - 7, 2014. Highlights include the Signature Series honouring three internationally acclaimed and recognized film industry personalities - directors, producers, actors - from the most anticipated films of the year. Blackcomb Mountain will host the annual Celebrity Challenge Ski Race, a dual-slalom race where corporate teams join filmmakers, directors, celebrities and athletes.
