Whistler Mul­ti­cul­tural Fes­ti­val (June 9): Cul­ture, mu­sic, food and dance will be on dis­play in Florence Petersen Park at the Whistler Pub­lic Li­brary and Whistler Mu­seum, 4 to 8 p.m. The fes­ti­val is open to the pub­lic and free of charge. Visit whistler­mul­ti­cul­tur­al­net­

Tough Mud­der, Tough Mud­der Half and Tough­est Mud­der (June 17 – 18): Tough Mud­der is a hard­core 16- to 19-kilo­me­tre (10- to 12-mile) ob­sta­cle course with mil­i­tarystyle ob­sta­cles de­signed to test par­tic­i­pants phys­i­cally and men­tally. The Tough Mud­der Half is a less in­tim­i­dat­ing eight km (five mile) course. A new event, the Tough­est Mud­der, is an eight-hour overnight event, with ex­clu­sive ob­sta­cles.
