Bar Oso – “oso” mean­ing “bear” in Span­ish, in homage to Whistler’s wildlife – of­fers a pro­fu­sion of Span­ish-in­flu­enced small plates and a wide range of tapas drawn from Araxi Restau­rant Ex­ec­u­tive Chef James Walt’s in­ter­na­tional reper­toire with house-made char­cu­terie, hand­crafted cock­tails and in­spired wines. The long, con­vivial bar has be­come a pop­u­lar gath­er­ing place. Araxi’s renowned Restau­rant Di­rec­tor Neil Hen­der­son, along with Chef Walt, over­see all as­pects of the op­er­a­tion at Bar Oso, en­sur­ing guests con­tinue to en­joy a long-held in­ter­na­tional rep­u­ta­tion for ex­cel­lence.
