Favourite Whistler winter activities?
Après anything … skiing, skate skiing, shoveling, working … you name it. I am open to celebrating it with a glacier fresh (Kokanee) beer and Chicken T&A from the Garibaldi Lift Co. Bar & Grill (GLC). Favourite ski/snowboard runs? I love skiing on both mountains but can remember a few particularly epic bluebird days doing laps of
Heavenly Basin, Log Jam and Backstage Pass with my girlfriends on Blackcomb. Favourite hangout(s)? Summer Hangs: Mimosas at Fifi’s Bistro, Pocket Pies from the Farmers’ Market and local tunes at The Point Artist Run Centre. Winter Triathlon: Early runs on the mountain, spicy snacks at The Royal Taste of India and a nap! Honourable Mention: Working out at the Meadow Park Sports Centre. I’ve been going there for over 20 years and really love the staff and trainers.
