Wild - - DID YOU KNOW... -

Wolves have incredibly powerful chompers. They can bite through bone in just eight bites. That’s right. Eight! They need all that strength so they can take down their favourite prey. You see, most wolves don’t bother too much with smaller mammals like rabbits or groundhogs. They’re more of a “go big or go home” sort, choosing to take down larger mammals like Moose, Bison, caribou, deer and even Muskox. But it’s not easy. Only one in 10 animals they chase is actually killed. When they finally get the chance to chow down, they really do — adults can wolf down nine kilograms of meat in a single sitting.
