They might be small, at three to 10 mil­lime­tres in size, but jump­ing spi­ders are the su­per­heroes of the arach­nids. They can jump up to 16 cen­time­tres! That’s pretty far for such a tiny crea­ture. Canada is home to 110 species of jump­ing spi­ders. Most of them live in Bri­tish Co­lum­bia, but they’re com­mon in On­tario and Saskatchewan too.
