Spiny Softshell Turtle

Wild - - WANT TO WORK WITH WILDLIFE -

This turtle is known as the pancake turtle because of its large round shell. It’s soft and leathery to the touch, which is quite different for a freshwater turtle — usually their shells are hard! The Spiny Softshell Turtle also has a long nose that looks like a bit of a snout. If you want to spot this turtle, you’ll have to head to the water — they’re usually found by rivers and lakes.
