Although the Arc­tic Fox pop­u­la­tion is do­ing well in Canada, it may get in trou­ble as its Arc­tic habi­tat changes due to it be­com­ing warmer. Al­ready, Red Foxes have been mov­ing north, push­ing the smaller Arc­tic Fox out of its habi­tat. Hunt­ing and dis­ease are also pos­si­ble threats.
