Just Keep Swimming

-

Leatherback Sea Turtles migrate farther than any other reptile on Earth! Atlantic Leatherbacks head from the southern nesting grounds of French Guiana, Suriname, Grenada, the United States and Trinidad to the east coast of Canada, where they chow down over the summer on jellyfish.

Yuuuuuummm !!!! Western Pacific Leatherbacks like to switch it up. Some will travel south into the South Pacific, others will go east into the waters off the west coast of North America, and still others will decide to go north into waters off Japan and west into waters off the Philippines and Malaysia. But don’t get it twisted — these mighty reptiles know just where they’re going. They go back to the same nesting beaches time and time again. And even though they’re battling the elements (like currents that can cause them to go off course for a while), they always seem to make it to their destinations anyway.
