GREAT HORNED OWLS

-

Great Horned Owls don’t love company. They’d rather dine alone, thank you very much. But they will put up with their partners while they’re mating. Luckily, they seem to pair up with one mate for life, so they don’t have to wine and dine multiple mates. One pair will usually claim 10 square kilometres to themselves and will defend their territory from other Great Horned Owls.
