WOLVERINES

Wolverines really need their space. Females have a pretty large range that they keep all to themselves (about 100 square kilometres), but males need even more! Male wolverines are happy to keep 1,500 square kilometres between themselves and other wolverines. What do they do with all that space? Well, they like to hunt all on their own (although they don’t mind snacking on leftovers after other carnivores, like wolves, have taken down some prey).
