Nfld.’s premier has more to offer nation than PM
I listened to Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams’ speech on TV and I found him honest, refreshing and not afraid to tell the truth or fear retaliation from Ottawa.
I have always voted but lately it seems we have no real choice to improve our country.
Politicians seem to make all their decisions to enhance their own existence and the good of the party.
I agree with Williams that our prime minister is untrustworthy and if he wins a majority in the election, it would be the worst thing that ever happened to Canada.
I would love to see Williams run for prime minister and turn this country around. I am jealous of those people of Newfoundland to have such a leader and I’m sure they would not let him go without a fight. DENNIS MENARD
