African Children’s Choir to play Ciociaro Club

The African Children’s Choir is returning to Windsor.

The world-renowned choir that raises awareness of Africa’s orphaned and abandoned children will perform at the Ciociaro Club at 7 p.m. on Oct. 5.

Seating for the free concert is available on a first come, first served basis and the doors will open at 6 p.m.

The concert is being hosted by Southwood Community Church. An offering will be taken to support the African Children’s Choir ministries, which provide education, care and emergency relief for more than 7,000 children in Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Sudan, Kenya and South Africa.

A different version of the African’s Children’s Choir performed to a large crowd at the Ciociaro Club last year.

Different editions of the African Children’s Choir have been performing for more than 20 years around the world. They have also appeared on TV’s American Idol.
