Golf course owes angry player a big apology
Re: Golf Course Policy An Insult To Veteran Player, Sept. 11, by Mel Greaves.
The Roseland golf course management team needs to have a short tutorial with its junior staff on discretion and owes an apology to Mr. Greaves for treating him like a second-class citizen.
Make it a policy to allow a limited number of golfers (taxpayers) to enjoy the putting green. Period.
Roseland should send a representative to Mr. Greaves' house with a sincere apology along with a voucher for 18 holes and a nice dinner for two.
Mr. Greaves, don't hold a grudge but rather continue to enjoy Roseland golf course. We both know it is a top-shelf golf experience with tremendous history. TIM GEORGE
