War in Afghanistan feeds terrorist agenda

If the government wished to honour our soldiers who have died in Afghanistan, it should commit to staying until the job is done. War is not a sporting event with a bell to sound its end. We believe in this mission or we don't.

I don’t. Every death of an innocent Afghan supplies a new recruit for the Taliban or for al-Qaida. We are like firemen fighting a blaze with gasoline in our hoses.

What does Stephen Harper really think of this war? Does he really believe in the mission? Is it possible our soldiers may be dying because of a political agenda? RICK TAVES
