Kronwall feels fine

Detroit Red Wings defenceman Niklas Kronwall was feeling no worse for wear Thursday, the day after getting shaken up on a blindside hit by former Spitfire Cam Janssen.

Janssen levelled Kronwall behind the Detroit net with about five minutes to play.

Kronwall had made a pass and was looking the other way. There was no penalty.

“I don’t know exactly what happened,” Kronwall said.

“That’s his role on the team, to provide that type of play and he made a good hit.”
