Audrina Patridge stalker gets jail
LOS ANGELES A schizophrenic man convicted of stalking The Hills actress Audrina Patridge was sentenced to two months in prison Thursday and ordered to stay away from her for 10 years.
Zachary Loring, 25, was arrested in February after knocking at the door of Patridge’s Hollywood Hills home while carrying a knife in his backpack. He also handed her a packet of letters that included a drawing of a woman being strangled.
He later pleaded no contest in Los Angeles Superior Court to a stalking charge and has been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic.
Despite his prison sentence, Loring could be released in a couple of months after being given credit for time already served in custody, and good behaviour, court officials said.
