Home Depot recalls Christmas lights

The Home Depot Canada is offering refunds to those who bought LED Christmas lights at one of its stores over the last month or so.

The home-improvement retailer said Friday that all holiday LED string lights purchased between Oct. 1 and Nov. 18 would be taken back at Home Depot outlets over undisclosed “quality issues.”

“Quality and customer satisfaction are very important to The Home Depot Canada, and these products do not meet the company’s quality standards,” the company said in a statement. The retailer added that there are no known safety hazards associated with these lights.
