Grant buys books in dual languages

On behalf of the Windsor Essex Community Health Centre, I wish to express our gratitude for receipt of $2,250 in support of the grant application from our centre.

These funds were used to purchase dual language books to promote literacy in multicultural families.

We were able to purchase dual language books in English and Chinese, Arabic, Gujarati, French, Bengali, Hindi, Karen, Italian, Spanish and Somali. After a thorough search of our client database, these were the top 10 languages our clients speak.
