Windsor Home & Leisure Show ready to roll!

- BY ANNA CABRERA CRISTOFARO

Gazebos. Hot tubs. Windows. Doors. Kitchens. Bathrooms. Landscape design. For anyone looking to beautify their existing home or create a brand new one, this is the event to visit – the Windsor Home and Garden Show.

The show made an exciting move this year to the former Zellers location at Tecumseh Mall, much to the excitement of Stuart Galloway, the promoter who has been responsible for the event for the last 28 years. The show is open to the public on April 25, 26 and 27.

“This is a well-known landmark to most in the region,” says Galloway, owner of 20/20 Show Productions.

Stuart Galloway “The former Zellers is a great venue for a show as it boasts over 100,000 square feet of floor space, is well lit and presents very well. We can offer all the amenities that a mall has to offer, with lots of paved and lined parking.”

In addition to the convenient parking – an improvement over the single access point parking that the home show has been limited to in the past – the full food court in the mall will provide patrons and exhibitors with a variety of food and beverage in which they can indulge throughout the entire weekend.

Inside, however, there will be a lounge sponsored and created by Landscape Effects, Rochester Place Golf Resort and Fireside Grill, where guests will be served some of our region’s finest wines and specialty beers. “The setting will be warm and casual,” says Galloway.

The Windsor Home and Leisure show will blow audiences away with the variety of vendors and exhibitors present. Over 150 exhibitors will be on hand to showcase the best of their industry. “People will find everything they need to renovate, decorate and upgrade their homes, both and inside and outside and in the year,” says Galloway. “There are going to be some amazing displays for kitchen and landscaping, plus the biggest selection of hot tubs and spas we’ve ever had.

“I can’t think of anything that a homeowner won’t find at this show.”

Homeowners and hopeful homebuyers will find all the latest and greatest in flooring, decks, fences, window coverings, awnings, furniture, windows and doors at the show. Lawn equipment, landscape design, barbeque and grill and sunroom experts will all be accessible under one roof for the convenience of guests.

“The amazing part about this show is that consumers can shop, compare and buy all in the same day rather than travelling from show room to show room or dealership to dealership,” Galloway has said about his show. “The face-to-face to interaction brings so much value to the consumer as well, plus every exhibitor at the show is ready to kick start their season.

“They will be offering the very best in show specials and have all their season’s best pricing in order to generate their season’s business. If it is service or any construction required , now is the time to see the exhibitors before their schedules to get too busy with bookings later in the spring or summer.”
