Art Gallery of Windsor “The Ladies, God Bless Them”: The Women’s and Junior Women’s Volunteer Committees, formed in 1950 and 1956 made significan­t contributi­ons to developing the AGW’s Canadian art collection during the 1950s-1970s. This exhibition profiles the support these groups gave to the gallery’s first curator, Daphne Hein, and the long-term director of 40 years, Kenneth Saltmarche, through Jan. 4, 2015.

be Done?: The 2014 Windsor-Essex Triennial of Contempora­ry Art celebrates artists in southweste­rn Ontario, eastern Michigan, WindsorEss­ex and Detroit, through Jan. 11, 2015, at the AGW and four offsite venues including: Leamington Arts Centre (72 Talbot St. W., Leamington); Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex (2121 Laurier Dr. in LaSalle); Drouillard Road (Ford City), and Capitol Theatre (121 University Ave. W. in Windsor).
