Gymnast Morgan wins two golds at nationals
Scott Morgan won two golds Sunday at the Canadian championships in artistic gymnastics in his first competition since the Rio Olympics. Morgan, from Vancouver, was first in rings (14.350) and finished in a tie for first with Aaron Mah of Vancouver on floor (13.850). Senior allaround champion Zachary Clay from Chilliwack, B.C., won gold on vault (14.150) and two silvers on pommel horse (14.400) and rings (13.900). He added a bronze on high bar (13.750). Thierry Pellerin of Levis, Que., won gold on pommel horse (14.700). On Saturday, Ellie Black of Halifax regained her senior all-around title.
