A Guelph man who used to live in Windsor is facing more charges related to sexual offences involving children.

Leigh Taylor, 64, was arrested by Guelph police last weekend as a result of allegations of past sexual wrongdoings.

The latest charges are five counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference, three counts of exposure to a person under the age of 16, and three counts of indecent acts.

These charges come in addition to one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference laid in March — bringing the total number of charges to 14.

On Jan. 27, Guelph police began investigating allegations against Taylor. He was subsequently arrested and charged on March 3, May 30 and June 11. Police said four additional people have come forward since the March 3 arrest.

All the charges relate to incidents that allegedly occurred in Guelph, but police noted that Taylor has also lived in Windsor, London and Toronto. Police also say Taylor “has been involved in a number of community activities that involved children and youth.”
