The Windsor Star publishes, at no charge, 50th, 55th, 60th, 65th and 70th wedding anniversaries and birthdays for those 90, 95, 100 and older. These announcements are published online and in print on Saturdays. Submissions are accepted by email only.
Send a current, high quality photo (as a jpg attachment) to news@windsorstar.com at least one month prior to the event. Put “Milestones” in the subject line. Include the following information in the email: the name(s) of the celebrant(s) in the photo; where they were married or born; the type of milestone (eg. 50th anniversary; 100th birthday); the number of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; how the milestone will be celebrated; and a contact name and phone number.

Ray and Rose Bourdeau were married July 19, 1952, at St. Anne’s Church in Walkerville. They have four children, 10 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. They will celebrate their anniversary with family and friends.

Jim and Joyce Hedges were married July 13, 1957, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Amherstburg. They have six children, 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They celebrated their diamond anniversary with family.

Marthese and Joseph Tomazic were married July 15, 1967, at Immaculate Conception Church in Windsor. They have three children and two grandchildren. They will celebrate their golden anniversary with family and friends.

Roger Kersey was born July 13, 1915, in St. Thomas, Ont. He has two children and one grandchild. He celebrated his birthday with family and friends.

Caroline Shuttleworth was born July 18, 1927, in Essex, Ont. She has nine children, 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She will celebrate her birthday during an open house, Saturday, July 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Cottam Baptist Church.

Bernie and Carole Soulliere were married July 20, 1957, at Sacred Heart Church in Windsor. They have four children, seven grandsons and two great-grandchildren. They will celebrate their diamond anniversary during a family dinner.

Reinhardt Moellendorf was born July 16, 1927, in Germany. He has three daughters, four grandsons and one great-granddaughter. He will celebrate his birthday with family and friends.
