Biz X magazine honours local businesses, individuals at gala
For two decades, Biz X has annually awarded Windsor-Essex businesses in a variety of categories.
The local business and lifestyle magazine celebrated its latest list with a gala dinner ceremony on Friday night at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts.
This year’s 24 winners were chosen out of 220 nominees.
Since 1998, Biz X has handed out more than 660 of its awards to businesses and individuals throughout the region. Each winner is found through community nominations, polls on the magazine’s website and a panel of judges.
Publisher Deborah Jones wrote in a release that the awards recognize hard work, dedication and talent — “the cream of the crop.”
