After four frightening incidents in Tecumseh that OPP describe as “separate, but very similar,” police are warning the public of a masked man.

All four reported incidents happened between Dec. 8 and Thursday — each during the early morning hours.

The first happened on Dec. 8 shortly before 2 a.m. at a home on Southfield Drive. The female resident told police she woke to see a masked figure standing outside of the window of her living room. After realizing he had been seen, the stranger fled on foot.

On the same date, around 2:30 a.m., an employee of a nursing home on Brouillette Court noticed a man wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing run through the parking lot of the facility.

The third incident happened on Sunday around 3:30 a.m. The female resident of a home on Demarse Court was alerted by the barking of her dogs. She saw a man standing outside her bedroom window, staring at her. Again, once he was seen, the man fled on foot.

The fourth incident happened on Tuesday, again during the early morning hours. OPP were called to a home on Fieldcrest Lane where a woman had heard footsteps on her deck and saw a “shadowy figure” outside the window of her rear patio.

In all four incidents, the suspect was described as an adult white male around six feet tall with a husky build. His age could range from 30 to 50. He wore dark clothing.
