Drivers, hold your horses on Hwy. 3

-

I was home for the holidays and couldn’t help but notice that driving on Highway 3 has not improved. What’s the rush everyone? Please air out the ants in your pants and take a breather. The Timmies line won’t get any shorter. Joking aside, I mean this in all kindness, and in the interest of everyone’s safety. Not only that, but by speeding and changing lanes, we’re actually slowing down traffic. It’s called phantom traffic, where variations in speed (caused from, for example, needing to break due to speeding) create a chain reaction leading to, well, traffic. Point being, drive safe. You’ll get where you need to go when you get there. Sasha Oliveira, Ottawa
