WORKIN’ MOMS GETTING NEW GIG

Exhausted parents around the world, rejoice: Catherine Reitman’s TV series Workin’ Moms will soon be streaming outside Canada.

Reitman, shown, says the CBC sitcom is coming to the U.S. and the rest of the world later this winter as a Netflix original series. Reitman made the announcement in a Twitter video late last week ahead of the show’s season 3 première on CBC-TV. Reitman, the daughter of actress Geneviève Robert and Canadian film director Ivan Reitman, says the Toronto-shot comedy will still be available to Canadian viewers on CBC Gem and Netflix Canada. Reitman stars in the series, which she co-produces with her husband, Philip Sternberg, along with Dani Kind and Jessalyn Wanlim as mothers juggling professional life and parenthood.
