Motorcyclist critically injured

A collision between a motorcycle and an automobile near Windsor Assembly Plant on Sunday night resulted in life-threatening injuries for the motorcyclist, police say. The incident happened in the area of Grand Marais Road East and Meldrum Road around 7:45 p.m. The vehicles involved were a black motorcycle and a blue Chevy Orlando. Police said the motorcycle sustained heavy damage, while the Chevy Orlando had damage to its driver side. The motorcycle rider, an adult man, was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition. Anyone who witnessed this incident can call traffic investigators at 519-255-6700 ext. 4000.
