Wanted: teens for rangers program

The Essex Region Conservation Authority is running its Teen Ranger program this August. The program, designed for youth ages 12 to 15, teaches outdoor and team-building skills. It runs four straight Tuesdays in August at Holiday Beach in Amherstburg, Hillman Marsh in Leamington and the John R. Park Homestead in Essex. It costs $140 and is limited to 40 teens. This year the Teen Rangers will learn survival skills and how to remain calm in a crisis. For more information go to essexregionconservation.ca.
