Toy Story 4 debuts at $118M
Walt Disney Co.’s Toy Story 4 seized the top spot at the box office over the weekend, knocking off Men in Black: International even though it took in less money than analysts predicted. The film brought in $118 million in U.S. and Canadian theatres, research firm Comscore Inc. said Sunday. That compared with estimates of $140 million to
$170 million. The debut was behind the record-setting $182.7-million opening for Incredibles 2 last year. (Figures in U.S. dollars.)
