Corporate Challenge scheduled to return with online hybrid event

- DAVE BATTAGELLO

Despite ongoing pandemic restrictions, the ninth annual Windsor Corporate Challenge will return this year as a hybrid event where corporate teams will safety participate in virtual activities and challenges.

This year's event has been scheduled for June 18 through June 22.

Since its inception, Windsor Corporate Challenge has raised over $1 million for local charities and has become a marquee team-building activity event.

Participants are being asked to register this year online at windsorcorporatechallenge.com. The cost for registration is $100 per person with each participant receiving a participation kit that includes all items for the challenge.

The 2021 event will involve teams completing a series of challenging activities that combine cognitive and physical skills with their coworkers over a fiveday time frame and submit their results online.

This year's keynote speaker will Jon Montgomery, an Olympic champion and Host of The Amazing Race Canada.

Funds raised this year will go towards the Hôtel-dieu Grace Healthcare Foundation and Canadian Mental Health Association Windsor-essex County to support the establishment of Windsor's first Youth Wellness Hub. The hub will bring health care and social services under one roof to make it easier for young people to access mental health and substance use support services.
