It was another tight contest between the Windsor Express and London Lightning.

After Windsor scored a onepoint win over London at home on Sunday, the Lightning returned the favour with a 91-90 win over the Express at Budweiser Gardens on Tuesday in Basketball Super League play.

“The home-and-home was two nail-biting games where the home team won by one,” said Express head coach Bill Jones, whose team is 2-2 against the Lightning this season. “The 401 rivalry lived up to its reputation.

“We come back up here on Sunday and I expect the same type of game.”

For the second game in a row, guard Shadell Millinghaus, who came to the Express in a trade with London last week, led the team with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Paul Harrison added 15 points for the Express (7-6) while Lance Adams finished with 13 points, Tyler Groce added 11 points and Trendon Hankerson and Latin Davis each chipped in with 10 points against the Lightning (11-6).
